Simple pleasures and trying something new for supper

Enjoying my mid morning tea break at the moment, selecting some Harney and sons tea that I was gifted for my birthday or Christmas. A touch of organic sugar and a lemon wedge-yum! Light rain falling, it's been a miserable day so far.
I moved menus around a bit this week; an unanticipated guest for a few days translated into DD not here for supper so DS #2 and I had the beef-black bean tacos that were on this week's menu plan for both Tues and Wed's supper as there was plenty leftover for another round. Supper tonight: trying this Knorr skillet dish, using BSC thighs as that's what I dug out of the chest freezer and substituting some organic, frozen spinach for the fresh as that's what is on hand.

Came out pretty good.

A large tossed salad will complete tonight's supper offerings.

That chicken supper looks delicious. We've had a lot of rain here lately too. I like my hot drinks when it is damp and cool too.
