Blog on saving money and living on a budget in CT.
Some great deals there. Incorporating beans into your diet twice a day should be pretty easy. We eat them two and three times daily with no problems here.
Good deals but I have read and been told that butter (in moderation) is better than margarine due to all of the additives in margarine. I am on a low fat and carb diet for years and it has helped with keeping my heart disease stable, weight and lowering of cholesterol in my blood. The fat content in food is worse than the cholesterol foods for raising the lipids in ones blood. Thirty percent of calories from fat should be the maximum in foods. The easy way to figure the percentage of fat in a food is to multiply the total fat grams by nine then divide by the total calories in the food which should be thirty percent or less (cheating is okay once in awhile ;) ). Hope this helps as it has for me. There is also a chart listing the amount of carbs for each meal but you might have that. Take care and good luck.
Agree that I am less than thriled to use margarine again. Hopefully, this is short term. I eat really healthfully, buying ingredients rather than prepared meals. Too many restrictions. I am pretty sure this 50 point jump is due to biologics. The cure can be worse than the disease.
Been unable to use g-mail and hope this posts. Will continue if it does.
Great deals! My system has the same reaction to certain medications so I totally understand your frustration.
Thanks for posting my trial post Carol. Time and again, I would have commented on the wonders you did to your home. Good deals and ideas. Yay, girl. The plants and flowers grew fast.
Wanted to check in and make sure all is well.
