Buttoning up the walls

Pictures from earlier today: I asked the contractor to fill in the nooks and crannies in preparation for sheetrock, will know later tonight if they are coming Fri or Mon. I opted out of spray foam, to save $$. Energy conservation is a biggie with me, and a worthwhile investment.
Ditto over the sliders in the dining room
which will be replaced (patio door on order). Buttoning up where ever it can easily be done. There was evidence of past ice damning on the paneling over this area, which, like the front door, was open under the paneling that was removed, allowing the cold air from the expansive overhang to suck in the heat.
Hall bath was sheetrocked (contractor can do smaller areas, leaving the specialists to handle the big areas. A bunch of French Canadians will come in and literally bang out the job, I've seen it before with my DX's work sites. Good thing I am fluent.
 More hall bath.
Master vanity came in early, was due to arrive on Mon. I still await the hall bath vanity, which was supposed to come in tomorrow.

Both the marble top and the sink were shipped in their own boxes.

I also went to Loew's today, using the $100 G/C from the realtor, towards a mail box and post. I also grabbed some white Gorilla glue silicone to fill in numerous areas around the home where the siding has holes, due to the removal of numerous cameras, lights, gizmos etc. I will do that myself. Looking to eliminate all air gaps possible and to eliminate all areas of access for mice, which we had evidence of in the kitchen and cellar. The mailbox is an almost freebie, I reached out on social media, looking for a referral for a handyman to install a mailbox for me, and a friend replied, donating her son the handyman (he and his brother have a bonified handyman business together) to do it for me as a housewarming gift. : ) Nice!
