This weekend's baking

A version of Bisquick classic streusel topped coffee cake: using my homemade bisquick mix, adding cinnamon and vanilla to the cake batter, substituting egg nog for the milk called for, and adding a layer of frozen blueberries under the crumb topping. This will become snack/breakfast this week.

Looks good. I have a similar recipe from Southern Living for overnight coffeecake. The blueberries sound like a delicious addition.

That sounds so good! All I need is a cup of coffee for that!

Do you make your Bisquick with whole wheat flour? I tried a mix and it's ok, but really only for pancakes and waffles. I find I don't care for it made into biscuits or cakes with the wheat flour.

Your coffee cake looks wonderful -- a good reminder that I have everything on hand to make our own treats!
