Better late than never!

Over a week past due, for the beginning of the new year! Finally received this freebie, but in the meanwhile, I had assumed that I wasn't getting one this year, so I purchased one for $1.06 with tax at the dollar store. I currently do not have a working printer (something I need to resolve), so a purchase was made.

I don't get as many free calendars as I once did. But this year, I did get one at the tire store. I do print out calendars, in the years I don't get a free one. But buying a calendar at the dollar store isn't a bad deal, either. Far less spent than buying at the drug store.

Now that you have a second one, perhaps you can use it for another area of life that needs organizing, or maybe one of your kids could use some organizational help. I use several calendars, as I like separate ones for different categories of work/appts (I keep a calendar for menus, another for housework, etc.). So, in odd years that I get more than one, I can easily find a use for it.

I just received mine in the mail too, also got one from Perdue Chicken - I keep calendars in three places (due to daycare) so they came in handy - also got a freebie calendar from Oriental Trading from purchasing a Christmas gift for my grandson - so I all set now with calendars!

Lili, I already have 3 calendarsnon my command center aka the large corkboard information center of my kitchen! I have a whopping $3.18 invested with tax. I have been waiting for this calendar, finally caved and bought the 3rd one as I needed it for the aformentioned organization center. I have one for appointments/commitments, another for menus, and one for the kid's work hours. I figure between the cost of paper and more importantly, ink, I am even if not ahead of the game. I'll find a spot for the freebie, no worries.

I start getting calendars in about October--used to take the extras to the office so everyone could have one in their cubicle. I try to give them away to people who need them but always seem to have extras. At least one from every charity I've given to plus a few more from companies that get my business. I end up putting extras in the recycling unless someone needs them.
