A mouse problem, resolved for now
We have a chronic mouse problem, due to my 2 cats, who destroy their toy mice. I have taken to whip stitching the torn areas, and recently resorted to placing a large patch over the spine of one of the mice as the fabric was simply too far gone. I've coined her " little red ridding hood." By repairing their toys, we don't buy new ones. The fabric used? it came from my stack of rags, originally were a pair of cotton boxers. The thread? whatever oddball colors are in prethreaded needles near the sewing machines.
