December 2016 menus

As mentioned on a previous post, I am late going this time around, but here are my December menus:

1-turkey (l/o fzn, cooked, ground in food processor turkey) Sheppards type pie: use l/o fzn gravy, l/o fzn mashed potatoes, scallions, carrots, celery.  Green salad
2-vegetarian stir fried rice: use brown rice, scallions, cabbage, carrots; fzn pot stickers? egg rolls?
3-turkey-rice soup: use fzn stock
4-CP sweet n sour chicken (baked chicken  for DD), br rice, carrots
5-salmon cakes (use canned), green beans, baked sweet potatoes
6-CP turkey chilli (use fzn l/o chopped cooked turkey), homemade corn bread
7- l/o
8-pate chinois, coleslaw
9-frozen asset: homemade beef stew
10-homemade lentil soup, use fzn pork stock
11-CP pot roast, mashed potatoes, fzn corn
12-pan fried Whiting fillets (fzn), brown rice, fzn peas and carrots, coleslaw
13-planned overs: beef stroganoff, beets
14-l/o
15-fzn crab-shrmip ravioli in white sauce, French green beans
16-ground chicken (fzn) patties, oven fries, salad
17-salmon-corn chowder (use canned fish, canned corn)
18-spaghetti with sausage, mixed green/waxed beans, salad
19-creamed salmon (use canned) over boiled potatoes, fzn peas
20-homemade bolognese sauce (use fzn beef) over Farfalle, fzn Summer squash/Zuke saute, salad
21-l/o
22-tuna cakes, fzn mixed vegetables, coleslaw
23-homemade pizzas
24-tourtiere, shrimp cocktail, relish plate cheese platter, and ???
25-roast turkey, stuffing, gravy and ??, homemade cookies for dessert
26-planned overs: turkey leftover plates
27-turkey pot pie (use fzn puff pastry)
28-l/o
29-turkey tacos on flour/corn tortillas, corn
30-hot dogs (fzn) on rolls, canned pork beans, coleslaw
31-tortiere, salad, relish plate and ????

My aim starting Dec, as I usually do this time of year, is to eat down what we have on hand and only stock up on super deals.  Beyond the usual perishables there is very little that I will need to buy to complete these menus: hot dog buns, grnd pork, egg rolls/pot stickers.


 My lease is thru May, and we'd like to stay here at least another year, until DS#2 finishes his transition program. If we must move (ugh!) then I don't want to have a lot of food to have to move. I plan on reaching out to the LL come March 1, allowing me plenty of time to relocate, if needed.
