Cool, damp weather for Fall

Another sign of Fall here: a kettle of water boiling, ready to fill my awaiting tea pot, to be topped by my custom made, tea cozy made out of vintage fabric. Love that thing! Tonight's offerings: I love lemon herbal tea

Supper plate of Kielbasa, baked beans, tossed salad with choice of dressing. Keeping meals quick and easy, as studying is now part of my routine. I'm set for tomorrow's class, will again tote food from home.

I love your tea cozy, Carol! So wonderful to find such a lovely use for the vintage fabric.

Lili, I actually bought this at a thrift shop. Made by Nimble Thimbles, which is a quilting group over the state line, into NY state. Several divisions meet in their home towns so I assume* that this was made by one of the members. Perhaps an unwanted gift? I bought it brand new. 99 cents plus tax, I believe at Savers. Nice heavy weight, vintage cotton duck cloth/linen. Lined with yellow cotton and naturally, insulated as well. Works like a charm to keep the tea pot hot.
