Sunday supper: Porterhouse steaks!

Normally $8/lb, I paid $4.88 (?) due to a loss leader coupon, thanks to a grand opening of a local grocery store. Steak usually means London broil around here, and it's a rare event at best. I am merinating the steaks in some cheapo, bought at DT Italian dressing, and they will be later grilled. Sides: fresh corn on the cob, sliced tomatoes, beets.

Fruit salad for dessert.

You did well on the price of the meat. I need corn on the cob and tomatoes right now. But, I will wait to get corn at the market.
