It was cold and damp on Saturday so I decided to make a pot of soup, pulling ingredients from the fridge: a remaining roast chicken breast, chic peas, scallions, carrots, broccoli, homemade stock. Additionally, I had a pint of home canned tomatoes, a jar of stelline pasta cuts,
some leftover brussels sprouts that I chopped
black pepper and the remaing herbs in a jar (from the CSA), the rest of a bag of fzn corn
An assortment of crackers was corralled out of the kitchen cupboard, they have to go!
