Saturday soup: Turkey vegetable

Soup is a real budget saver for me, that helps me to avoid food waste in the process.

 Here are the bulk of today's soup pot ingredients: a quart of homemade turkey stock from the freezer, a remaining bit of the 2nd cabbage bought around St Pat's (bought 3), a container holding the bits of leftover veg from the past week, an open tomato, 2 soft tomatoes, 2 carrots, a tub of leftover, garlic and herb seasoned egg noodles. Additional ingredients: water, 3 stalks celery, 1/2 of an onion.
 After sauteeing off the carrots/onion/celery, I added everything except the noodles. After the vegetables were soft, the noodles joined in, as did some additiional seasoning: parsley, black pepper, 2 saved chicken broth packets from ramen.
Here's tonight's soup pot offering, to be served with crackers. Done.

It came out very good. We'll enjoy the leftovers for a few lunches, moving into the new week.
