Switching over the holiday decor a bit

I removed the buter cream-beige tablecloth to be laundered, placing this "Winter" themed one on the dining table. It doesn't scream "Christmas" so it makes for a good transition piece. What few  Christmas decorations I have, will be removed Jan 1, as is my tradition. For now, we're going Wintery.

I love the winter make over. I hope to get started putting Christmas up tomorrow and putting out some winter things. Now if the temps will just drop below 75!

I love the tablecloth too--- such a pretty blue color.. I will be taking the tree down on January 1 too.

Pretty! I like the blue. I confess to yearning for spring, though, once Christmas us over. It comes more quickly here (Pacific Northwest) than it did when we lived in New England, but not as quickly as it did when we lived in the southwest. I guess we have the tradeoff...milder winter for me, bearable summer for dh.
As for your cooking...wow. You are rather talented, aren't you?

Meg, the tablecloth hails back from when my kitchen color was blue. Makes for a nice change from red and green of Xmas And yes, I am known for my cooking, a talent I inherited from a long line of cooks in my family. My great grandmother taught me to make a feast for an army out of what appears initially to be nothing-a talent I certainly cherish.
