Blog on saving money and living on a budget in CT.
I'm sure looking forward to some cooler weather but it will be another 5-6 weeks before it begins to cool down here.
What beautiful looking recipes. I hope pumpkin is cheaper this year. I bookmarked that that one, thank you for posting it. :)
Aldis has had canned pumpkin for 89 for some time now. I still have some in cans as well as my homemade, fzn puree. Looking to use that up.
I have some in the freezer too, but I'm trying desperately to hang on to summer--we are still eating home grown peaches, and when they are no longer available, then I will have to admit that fall is on the way!! But reluctantly.
I am definitely putting canned pumpkin on my "watch for mark-downs" list. Thanks, Carol!! Shirley
My grown kiddos would not complain if pumpkin and pecan pies were dessert every day.
