Beating the heat; baking in the cool of the mornig

With temps forecasted to climb this afternoon, bringing humidity and a chance of thunderstorms along with them, I intentionally baked in the cool of the morning today..

A bit of a Fall theme, but we're using what's on hand:

 All baked together to maximize efficiency//energy use: cranberry walnut  bread, using fzn berries
2 Butternut squash breads (I use this like pumpkin), using canned squash that has been lurking. Breakfast and snacks for this week.
