Planning ahead

 Tuesday afternoon will find me at the hospital rehab center, so I am getting what dinner prep work that I can, done tonight, Culling more out of the pantry and freezer.
Home cooked and later frozen pintos combined with rinseed and drained, canned black and red kidney beans, 2 cans chilli style tomatoes, a chopped large onion, chilli powder.
The tub contains cooked turkey meat, some of which will be diced for chilli, some will become sandwich fillings this week. An extra pint of tomatoes also awits until the morning, in case I feel it's needed. The chilli will slow cook all day, and once home, I will make some scratch corn bread.
