Trying a new place

With a sick kidlet at home, visitation plans were changed at the last minute this week. Wanting to continue our Lenten observences, I decided to try an eatery in the city North of here, which has had some awesome reviews. I was interested in the fish and chips. DD remains really interested in returning to try their Indian and Pakistani foods.

I bought the "family fish and chips" for us, and the total was under $40. A splurge, yes, but that is in the budget, so no worries. 9 HUGE pieces of fish were freshly dipped into batter and fried in front of us. Very friendly staff, ubber clean shop, and fair prices. We will definately return.

Those are huge! So big they looked like chicken breasts. Hope they were delicious.
