Blog on saving money and living on a budget in CT.
Simple is great! We had leftover buffet, pizza, Chinese and chicken pot pie - doesn't get any simpler for us
You've mentioned the horseradish encrusted fish before and I'm curious. What's your recipe, if you don't mind sharing?
I have a question. I purchased tilapia once, and everyone in the family said it taste like dirt and would not eat it. I agreed with them and haven't purchased it since. Do you have a way of cooking it that makes it taste less "earthy"? I am just curious.
Theresa-how did you cook it? I usually use it for Horseradish crusted fish, I've baked it with lemon juice, black pepper and dill weed.If given my preference, I'd much rather have wild caught salmon or Haddock. It works, we're on a budget.
MelindaThis is a recipe I use (original one was shared with me, was supposedly a pampered chef version). I just triple this one.http://www.1001recipes2send.com/Entrees/Seafood/4283-Horseradish-Crusted_Cod.shtml
Thank you SO much. You are a peach! And by the way, I had the same problem with LLB slippers and I finally stopped buying them. Flannel sheets are wonderful though. :-)
Just with butter and seasonings. I hear you about the budget. I have pretty much stopped buying red meat altogether. It is ridiculously priced these days. Your horseradish crusted fish sounds good. Is it easy to make? I am someone who needs to follow a recipe. :)
Sorry just saw the link to the fish recipe.
