Tuesday: pantry cooking




More eating down the pantry today:

-presliced, leftover from Christmas ham to be warmed up with some canned pineapple chunks
-last box of au gratin potatoes to be made using instant milk
-canned beets
-oven baked Winter squash

I would love that dinner. Ham and scalloped potatoes or au gratins, one of my favorite meals. Enjoy!!

I make ham only a few times/year, so this is a nice change of pace. Glad to get it out of the freezer, use up the boxed potatoes (paid 50 cents at Dollar Tree after coupon). Canned pineapple (aldi's) canned beets (Shoprite sale plus coupon) and the fresh Winter squash that was one of 2 I had remaining. Eating down the stockpile, getting creative and trying to come up with variety in the process. : )
