Ham meal # 3

Even though I told him that the meat for supper is ham in a spiced Asian sauce, kidlet wanted deviled ham for his sandwich today. Fine with me. Here are the simple ingredients: preground up ham, mayonnaise, black pepper, pickle relish.
Mix together, done. Sure is a lot cheaper than the Hormel/Underwood stuff sold in small tins.

DS # 2's lunch. Leftover sandwich filling awaits in a square, repurposed margarine tub in the fridge.

Carol, does your family like the Aldi brand mayo? I noticed you had a jar in the pic. I just bought a jar but haven't opened it yet. I've been a die-hard Dukes or Blue Plate brand fan but needed to cut back on costs so I bought the Aldi brand.

Yes, it's a quality mayo, comparable to Duke's or Helmann's. Love the price, wish, however that they carried a low fat version. Aldi's does have a "Miracle whip" product as well, a product I don't normally use.

Thanks! I'd been using an olive oil based mayo but lately it's been tasting "plastic". I don't care for Miracle Whip although my DH loves it. Wish manufacturers would go back to glass jars for the condiments/salad dressings etc. I think they tasted much better!
