Saturday soup day: ingredients to be used: homemade turkey stock, a head of cauliflower, one onion, 4 carrots, leftover chopped tomato and Mexicorn.
I first sauteed until slightly golden, the onion, carrot and cauliflower in some reserved chicken fat.
I added the stock, the leftover vegetables, water.
Seasoned with chicken bouillon that I am trying to use up (in lieu of salt), tarragon, black pepper.
Just prior to serving, I added a cup of so of 1/2 and 1/2. Came out pretty good. I offered to blend it together as a puree, but DD wanted the veggies whole.
