I came home to this message in an email:
As we look ahead to future weeks, we still have plants that are delayed in ripening. Because of this, we have decided to extend the season from our typical 16 weeks to 20 weeks. This will make our final pick up dates October 15th and 18th. We do this with the hope that this will allow the remaining summer produce and fall squashes the additional time they require and also with the hope that there is not an early frost, snow storm or hurricane.
Awesome! Our previous CSA (a different farm) was a 20 week program as well. Looking forward to this extended harvest.
