CSA 2013 # 10
Week number 10 already! This week's share again included a dozen butter and sugar corn. I've taken to cooking it, freezing it for Winter. I just have so much room.
Herbs joined our share this week: while the usual basil was included, they added an additional bunch of purple basil, one sprig of Sage, a small bunch of oregano, a small bunch of rosemary. I am drying last week's basil now, along with the sage, rosemary, oregano. The 2 bunches of replacement basil are refrigerated, in a water filled Mason jar. I also got 3 onions again: red, white, yellow; one large cuke, 2 small cuke, a choice of purple or green cabbage, 4 peaches (new to the share), a Summer squash, a pint each of smaller red tomatoes and golden cherry tomatoes. A good selection.
