Saturday supper: hamburger stroganoff
With 2 kidlets recovering from wisdom teeth extraction, I planned on soft meals for the menus. Tonight's offerings: homemade hamburger stroganoff using 1 lb roll of 85% lean ground beef (Aldi's), instant milk, water, a can of "healthy choice" cr mushroom soup from Aldi's, black pepper, gravy master, paprika, a pkg of egg noodles (sale plus cpn, I paid about 50 cents for the pasta). No sr cream to wisk in, but still tastes good. Boiled, organic CSA beets are our side veggie tonight, along with a simple salad:
more organic CSA offerings: buttercrunch lettuce, orange cherry tomatoes, mini cukes, however, are Aldi's. Choice of homemade salad dressing.
