Use it up: breakfast muffins

I capitalized on the need to use up 3 bananas (about 1 cups' worth of puree but I needed 2 cups) as well as the rest of some home canned apple sauce. I got my meatloaf made and baking off, then started on the muffins, using my spiced pumpkin-choc chip muffin recipe, but omitting the chocolate chips, and using 4 tsp of Penzey's baking mix for the spices, in addition to the vanilla extract. These came out quite well, and will grace our breakfast table in the morning. I'll call these banana spice muffins.
