Today's baking

A lurking, dried out Panetone became a breakfast "French toast casserole" aka "bread pudding" as what we called it when I was a child. Hopefully, the boys will like it as I made a 13 x 9 x 2 dish of it!

Another expired lurker removed from the cupboard, this time a lb cake mix (used to be cheaper to use the mix vs from scratch, I'd have to research it)

I plan on offering strawberry short cake with this.
