Blog on saving money and living on a budget in CT.
For a while there, my daughters were wearing things I bought them for a while and then willing them to me. I will wear more "worn-looking" stuff than they will, especially around the house. I'm still wearing some shirts of theirs from years ago. I don't mind a bit, either. My surviving daughter always offers me things before sending to the Goodwill, as I do with her. We aren't the same shape but are close in size, so shirts work although pants don't. Nightgowns work too---I have a large supply which are half-worn, IMO. I'm about at the point of needing to go through things again to see what could be donated. Another thing to add to me "to do" list!
