Freezing ahead, avoiding waste

                               
Here's the label that I tore off of the steel can before recycling it. Paper is always recycled separately. I've decanted the remaining sloppy joe sauce into a pint Ball jar and capped it. Now to make a label. Let's not reinvent the wheel here.

I tore the excess paper away and recycled it, then folded the bottom edge under and afixed the sauce label to the jar, using a repurposed vegetable rubber band. It's now in the freezer, clearly labeled, awaiting until next time. If I simply stuck it in the fridge, it could get wasted.
